Over the last couple of weeks I've been thinking about ways to raise money to help the people of the Ukraine. As a one woman band I don't expect to change the world but even if I can raise £100 I hope that will mean something to at least one person or family that is suffering. Therefore I have decided to sell prints of the Snowdrop Fairy painting which I recently painted as a project for the online watercolour school. The painting is after 'The Snowdrop Fairy' by Cicely Mary Barker an illustrator from Croydon. All profits will go towards the British Red Cross who are members of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC). £100 could provide sleeping mats for 66 people, £210 could provide a fully equipped first aid kit, including supplies, to a first aider treating those wounded.

Prints are £26 (which includes £1 postage) and arrive umounted, ready to be framed. You will also recieve an information sheet explaining a little more about the significance of the Snowdrop and a copy of the Snowdrop poem by Wordsworth.
